I remember being the first-time buyer.

My first home purchase
felt like a whirlwind.
Yours deserves clarity.

Hi, I’m Melissa.

Wilson County born & raised. Here for your next chapter.

When I bought my first home in 2017, I had no idea what was happening. Homes were selling faster than you could write an offer. Everything moved quickly, and no one explained the process to me.

It was a whirlwind. I remember what it felt like to take such a big step without really understanding the steps along the way.

That experience is a big part of why I want to help first-time buyers. I want you to understand what’s happening, feel comfortable asking questions, and know what comes next—even when things move quickly.

I also spent years as a stay-at-home mom, keeping track of all the moving pieces. I enjoy being the person people can count on: organizing the details and making a complicated process feel a little easier.

You don’t have to arrive with all the answers. Bring your questions, your nerves, and your hopes for your first home. We’ll start there.

A little more about my home

Home is where
the dogs are.

Meet Charlee & Pepper

My two Australian Cattle Dogs, and a big part of what makes my house feel like home. I’m a little obsessed with them—so an introduction was inevitable.

Whatever makes a place feel like yours, that belongs in the conversation, too.

For the “where do I even start?” stage

Your first home.
A person in your corner.

Maybe you’ve been saving for years. Maybe you’re just wondering if it’s possible. Either way, there’s room to begin with a conversation.

01 / ROOM FOR EVERY QUESTION

You’re learning.
That’s expected.

What happens after an offer? Who handles the inspection? What does that word even mean? You should feel comfortable asking, and understand the next step before taking it.

02 / CARE FOR THE MOVING PIECES

The details matter.
So does how you feel.

There’s a lot to keep track of when you buy a home. I enjoy organizing those details and helping you see what needs your attention, so the process feels more manageable.

From curious to ready

We’ll start where you are.

You don’t have to be ready to move tomorrow. We can begin with what’s on your mind today.

01 / LET’S GET TO KNOW YOU

What would home feel like?

Tell me about your everyday life, what you need from a home, and what makes you excited—or nervous—about buying.

02 / FIND YOUR STARTING POINT

Make the unfamiliar clearer.

We’ll talk through the buying process, your questions, and the people involved, including a lender who can explain financing options.

03 / TAKE THE NEXT STEP

A plan that feels manageable.

From exploring homes to understanding what comes next, we’ll work through the moving pieces with your goals in mind.

Rooted here. Focused on you.

Wilson County is where I grew up. Helping you find your own place here—or elsewhere in Middle Tennessee—is personal to me.

You bring the questions.
I’ll bring the care.

Tell me what’s exciting, what feels confusing, or what you’re hoping for. You don’t need a perfect plan to start.
